The OfficePower User Group

OPERA, the OfficePower User Group in the UK, was active from the late 1980's until 2001. It normally functioned as a special-interest group within a wider ICL or Fujitsu user group. From 1991 until 1997 it was a sub-group of the DRS Users Association and subsequently TOPIK. After the TOPIK User Association closed in 1997, the OPERA committee decided that there was still sufficient interest in OfficePower to continue and so OPERA went solo for a while, before joining forces with AXiS, the Association for the eXploitation of Information Systems.

OPERA Open Meetings

The user group held open meetings every few months, typically at the site of a member organisation.
