OfficePower PurgeMail
Reported problems
The following problems have been identified in the version of PurgeMail issued with OfficePower/Xtra:
- PurgeMail may fail to run if a purge of all users is selected and the number of entries in the OfficePower users file is greater than the designed limit of 1000.
This limit will be raised in OfficePower 2000 - see the table below for details of the new limits.
- PurgeMail will fail to send the results of the purging to a user on systems where the mail homepost contains an empty ADMD field. This problem will be fixed in OfficePower 2000.
Users who encounter either of these problems prior to release of OfficePower 2000 can obtain
an interim copy of PurgeMail 1.6 via their normal support route.
PurgeMail Limits
The following maximum limits apply to PurgeMail at various OfficePower releases. Exceeding these limits will cause unpredictable results:
