Pl@za for OfficePower provides web-based applications to help communities to share
information and contact one another via an intranet or the Internet - using your existing
OfficePower server. Pl@za for OfficePower version 1 is issued with OfficePower 2000, and
includes the first of these applications Interactive Business Cards. Later versions
will introduce further applications.
To use these new applications, you require a Pl@za for OfficePower (OfficePower Option 3)
licence.
Enabling Pl@za for OfficePower
After entering the commercial keys for OfficePower 2000 and Option 3, carry out the
following procedure to enable Pl@za for OfficePower on your server:
- Login as root.
- cd $hp/programs/opweb where $hp is the OfficePower home directory.
- chmod 6751 plaza_create
- The file should be owned by public and have set-uid permission (s) set.
Users can now login to Pl@za by entering the URL http://server_address/plaza.htm
and using their normal OfficePower username and password.
